Q. What is Grow Fit’s Burger Bun?

Our burger bun is a round, dome-shaped risen bread designed specifically to hold a burger patty and the accompanying toppings. Burger bun, when sliced in half, makes burgers and sandwiches and easy foods to eat. It is made from a dough prepared from all-purpose flour, and leavening agents.
Q. How is it made?
Our burger bun is made using a combination of all-purpose flour which is used as a base for the dough, yeast and sugar acts as the fermentation agent. Yeast will bloom faster if it has sugar. Salt and butter adds in for extra flavor and richness. The dough is proofed in a warm place for an hour until doubled in size which gives it the classic elastic well moisturised dough. Once it is fully risen, it’s time to bake it until it’s nicely browned on the outside. Baked for 20 mins at moderate temperature (190 °C) with gluten and water to achieve a soft, amazing texture.

Holy bread grail, and you can practically feel the delicious goodness just out of the package. Replace regular bun with Grow Fit’s Burger Bun. They’re fantastic on their own, slather with a bit of butter or dunk big time into a bowl of piping hot soup. You just cannot go wrong. Q. Why should I buy it?
Fermentation is the chemical breakdown of carbohydrate and sugar naturally found in grain flour by dry yeast to carbon dioxide causing gas bubbles to form, which has a leavening effect on dough.
In our bun making process we spend enough hours proofing the bread. This allows fermentation to occur and some of the gluten to be broken down. In return it makes it easier for your body to digest.

Burger Bun is prepared using all natural and simple ingredients. It does not contain preservatives and chemicals as opposed to store-bought ones. Bun found in grocery stores are generally prepared using 100% all purpose flour and are loaded with way too many chemicals in order to increase their shelf life.

Q. Does it contain sugar?
Our burger bun dough is fermented using yeast and a small amount of sugar! Sugar balances the bitterness produced during the fermentation process and lends a sweet taste to the finished product. And of course we make sure that added sugar is within its limits so you get a low sugar, preservative free end product.
Q. Does it contain wheat ?
Yes. Our Bun is made with all purpose flour, has a finer, lighter texture and usually has a longer shelf life.
Q. What is gluten?
Gluten is a combination of the natural proteins found in wheat. They are the real workhorse of the world’s most famous bread and pastries. Gluten is essential to the bread making process as it helps bread maintain its shape and flavor.
Q. Should I avoid gluten?
If you have Celiac's disease or some other autoimmune disorder, yes you should avoid gluten. If you don't have an autoimmune disorder you should be just fine consuming gluten.
Q. Do you have vegan options?
We do not offer vegan burger bun currently. We make sure to label those breads accordingly. Please note that we are not a vegan bakery, and if you are concerned with any such problem please inquire with us before purchasing.
Q. Can we freeze it?
Yes, you can definitely freeze burger buns up to 3 months and keep it good for later. Need to thaw your burger bun? Just stick it in the fridge overnight, and it’s good to go!
